In Ewighausen in the Westerwald region, the Mathis family had to deal with many thefts in the past. Now the second self-service store has also been equipped with the Lokbest solution to secure access to the sales garage and offer payments by SEPA, credit card and PayPal.
Back in November 2023, Sascha and Melanie Mathis put an end to regular thefts in the farm store in Weidenhahn by integrating the Lokbest Store software solution. After the system was well known by customers, they decided in May 2024 to switch the second store in Ewighausen to the cashless system as well.
The 24/7 self-service store impresses with a large selection of products from their own production – from free-range eggs, potatoes, pasta and honey to tinned sausages and jams. Their hens live in mobile barns that are regularly moved to fresh pastures – species-appropriate animal husbandry is a top priority for the Mathis family.
Thanks to the integration of the Lokbest Store software, sales are completely digital: customers register conveniently via app, gain secure access to the salesroom and make cashless payments with just a few clicks.
Soup chickens can also be pre-ordered via the farm’s website – ideal for planning purchases of fresh produce directly from the farm. The range is complemented by four vending machines, which make regional food available around the clock at various locations.
