Beimborn’s farm store has been given an upgrade: a wider range of products & the option of cashless shopping from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. – a clear added value for customers. Thorsten Beimborn can also protect himself a little more against possible theft thanks to access & payment via app.
Since December 2024, Beimborn’s farm store in Herscheid has been a digital self-service store with the Lokbest Store software solution. After registering once in the app, customers receive a QR code that gives them access to the store. There, they can add products to their digital shopping cart by scanning the QR codes on the price tag and make cashless payments.
The range includes regional products such as dairy products from Drolshagen, beef and pork from Kierspe, ice cream from Wipperfürth, bread from Plettenberg and broiler chickens from their own farm in Wellin. The store is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. in winter and until midnight in summer. The combination of digital access control and video surveillance increases security and enables flexible shopping without staff on site.
